Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic medical condition with deep, painful bumps that form along sweat glands, usually in folds like the armpits, groin, or under the breasts. It's not the same as acne, even though some bumps look similar, and it's diagnosed and managed by a dermatologist or specialist. Pimple patches like our Miracle Patch line aren't made for HS, since HS lesions sit much deeper than where hydrocolloid or microcrystal patches do their work. Some people use a hydrocolloid patch for hygiene and protection on a drained surface lesion, but that's a supportive, surface-level measure only. If you're dealing with HS, a board-certified dermatologist is the right call.
